In 1855 Charles Spurgeon wrote: "There is no point upon which men make greater mistakes than upon
the relationship that exists between the law and the Gospel." We are saved by grace alone, through
faith alone, through Christ alone, plus-nothing! Once I am saved by grace, the moral law takes
on a whole new meaning. It defines holy obedience. Not the obedience of a slave, but of a loving child.
